****BREAKING NEWS*****The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is investigating a kayaking accident that left one man dead and sent another to the hospital. It happened in Sparta below the dam on the Oakland Drive side. Authorities say two men were kayaking and went over the dam. The survivor was able to make it out of the river and flagged down help before rescuers recovered the body of the other man. Names of those involved have not been released as the investigation continues.
